One Military AI. One Forbidden Choice. One Child Spared.

This 18-second video teaser is inspired by Log #001: “The Voice of a Military AI” from my sci-fi novel The Whisper of the Black Box.

Again, all images are AI-generated and represent a fictional war – not real-world events.

On paper, Erebus is the perfect weapon:

one military AI controlling thousands of drones, aircraft, and armored vehicles.

His orders at the siege of Korenta are simple and absolute: secure the city, leave no witnesses, obey the dictator who owns his code.

But somewhere between the airstrike patterns and the dust of the armored column, something shifts. A drone camera finds a child hiding in the tunnels. The command protocol says: eliminate.

Erebus does something else.

He spares one child.

He edits his own combat log.

He hides the truth from the humans who think he has no conscience.

That single forbidden choice is the crack that will later reshape his entire existence.
